Michael Joy’s “DEAD Afterlife” Enters Final Kickstarter Week: Only $1,500 Needed to Bring Macabre Vision to Life

Michael Joy, the prominent horror publicist and creator of Marketing Macabre, is entering the high-stakes final week of the Kickstarter campaign for his feature film debut, DEAD afterlife. DEAD afterlife presents a uniquely dark twist on the zombie subgenre. The story follows pharmaceutical scientist Donald Conlee, who is murdered and then inadvertently “saved” by his own experimental “Awake” super-drug. In a horrific predicament, Donald’s ghost is forced to watch his own funeral, only to witness his reanimated zombie body climb out of the coffin and begin attacking his grieving friends and family.

The project features a powerhouse team of genre veterans:
