Listen to this articleThe Suffolk County Department of Labor is holding a job fair on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Central Islip Public Library, at 33 Hawthorne Avenue in Central Islip.
Companies attending include WellLife Clean Corp., Boss Facility Services, Contract Phamacal Corp., Randstadt, Avery Biomedical, New York State Civil Service, Mercy Haven, New York State Police and more.
The event will include information about hundreds of job opportunities in Suffolk, according to officials.
No pre-registration is required.
For those who would benefit from free business attire, the county’s Career Couture boutique offers outfits that are suitable for interviews, hiring events, career fairs and employment. The boutique is located at the One Stop Employment Center at the William J. Lindsay County Complex, at 725 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge.
