Bill O’Reilly Urges Trump to Take a ‘Month Off’ for His Health

Bill O’Reilly had a message for his longtime friend Donald Trump on the July 21 episode of his show. The journalist concluded the episode by noting he’s known Trump for 35 years and expressed concern about the president’s health.

“I noticed that he’s hunching over a little bit,” O’Reilly pointed out. “That’s normal. You get older, every malady in the world is going to visit you. I can’t even bore you with the stuff I gotta deal with. I was actually feeling sorry for myself the other day and I never do that.”

O’Reilly then gave his “advice” to Trump, who is 80 years old, urging him to “take the next month off, if you can.” He said Trump should “get into an environment” he likes, perhaps where he can play golf and “relax a little bit.”

He continued, “You gotta deal with Iran, I understand that. Everybody understands that. You can do that on the phone and you can do it with your people calling. But you need a breather. I need a breather, and I’m going to build it into August. But he needs a breather much more than I do.”

To finish out the episode, he added, “We wish the best, not only for President Trump, but all the presidents,” citing Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Jimmy Carter, who died in 2024.

Concern about Trump’s health has risen amid his second term as president. However, he has insisted that he’s perfectly healthy. In May, he underwent preventive medical and dental checkups at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Afterwards, he wrote on social media, “Everything checked out PERFECTLY.”

A spokesperson for the White House also said, “President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible president in American history who is working nonstop to solve problems and deliver on his promises, and he remains in excellent health.”
