When all else fails, there’s some solace in knowing that you can call upon a few elevated basics to make a summer ensemble that’s as chic as it is effortless. Whilst experimenting with new trends—be it red-and-black flip-flops or balloon shorts—is always a way to breathe new life into your wardrobe, relying upon a few cardinal staples can save you the hassle of staring into the abyss that is your wardrobe and struggling to piece together a look you’ll feel both confident and comfortable in.
