Review: “Ready For Hollywood” Starring Ksenia @ Hollywood Fringe Festival 6/24/23

Taking her audience on a hilarious journey from her small village home in Russia to the magic of Hollywood, comedian, actor, singer and influencer Ksenia leaves no unfiltered stone unturned. Her one woman show is an infusion of musical comedy, stand-up humor and impressive rap all unmasked at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 6/24/23 in her own production of “Ready For Hollywood.” The question is….was the crowd ready for Ksenia? The answer is an undeniable YES!

Touching on subjects not normally discussed publicly, she made seem as an everyday funny occurrence. The crowd roared with laughter and appreciation at her songs (and yes she can sing), and smiled at her wild takes on hiding the fact that you’re 30, survival in Russian prison camps and her fucked up parents.

The fact is that there is as much truth and comedy to her real story. She did indeed grow up in a small Russian town with a dream. I’ll be eventually moving to Los Angeles, and conquering Hollywood. She has presented her unique comedy at The Laugh Factory, Comedy Cellar NYC, MTV and Laugh After Dark. Her take on Russia has even gained the attention of Yakov Smirnoff.

Her ambiguous and giddy riddle of passion, poetry, and symbolism won the hearts of the audience. She stays as close to the edge as she can without falling off. She is a shining example that things turn out for the best for people who make the best out of the way things turn out. To say that she is one in 1 million is one of the biggest understatement this side of the century.
