Harrison Ford’s former estate in a very exclusive part of Los Angeles is currently for sale, and whoever buys it will end up owning a piece of movie history.
According to the Robb Report, the cinema legend, who currently stars as Jacob Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel 1923, purchased the 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom, 7,164-square-foot estate in the ultra-exclusive Brentwood area of Los Angeles for a million dollars in 1983, just after the release of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
Ford worked as a carpenter before he found success as an actor, and he reportedly designed and installed some of the ornate woodwork in his former estate as part of a complete refurbishing after he moved into the house, which was originally built in 1951.
He lived in that house until he sold it to Kevin Reilly, the former Chief Content Officer of HBO Max, for $8.2 million in 2012. Reilly sold it to billionaire Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel for $12 million in 2016, and Speigel has now listed the stunning property for $19,950,000.
