Start of JAY-Z’s Concert at Yankee Stadium Delayed Following Reported Security Breach

A reported security incident outside Yankee Stadium has significantly delayed the start of JAY-Z’s third and final show at the venue on Sunday night. As of 11:00 p.m. ET, thousands of fans were still waiting to enter. For context, the previous two nights’ concerts began shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Although an official reason for the delayed start has not been given, ABC 7 News reports that Yankee Stadium was temporarily placed on lockdown after a large group of people rushed a gate, causing a security breach.
