Billy Ray Cyrus‘ eldest son from his marriage to Leticia ‘Tish’ Finley, Braison Cyrus, has come out to share his opinion on the supposed Cyrus family feud. Brother Trace Cyrus previously highlighted the ongoing spat in an open Instagram letter. Trace’s words regarding the apparent state of his father have generated immense buzz among fans. This has prompted Braison to address the issue on his own.
Here’s everything you need to know about Braison’s latest remarks regarding his brother, Trace Cyrus’ viral post.
In a recent interview with People, the 30-year-old music composer openly talked about the ongoing discussion around his family and clarified that he does not harbor any grievances against anyone. “I don’t have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family,” he noted.
Braison Cyrus’ statements come after Trace took to Instagram on January 22 to share his thoughts about his father, Billy Ray Cyrus. He discussed how his actions have affected his family in recent times. “It seems this world has beaten you down. And it’s become obvious to everyone but you,” he wrote in the detailed caption. Talking about the dynamics that Billy shares with him and his three sisters, Brandi, Miley, and Noah, Trace remarked, “Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away.”
“We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns. You’re not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it,” Trace added. While he failed to highlight the incident, Trace’s post incidentally succeeds the controversial appearance of Billy Ray Cyrus at Donald Trump’s Liberty Inaugural Ball on January 20.
Meanwhile, despite Trace’s apparent concerns, things seem to be progressing well with Braison and Billy Ray Cyrus. Braison shared excitement regarding his father’s upcoming album in an earlier interview in contrast to his brother’s comments. He claimed that working on the record with Billy has improved the duo’s relationship. “I’ve spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have,” Braison recalled.
