Cheers star Kesley Grammer will serve as special guest happy hour bartender at Sound View Greenport on Nov. 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., helping to celebrate opening night of the North Fork TV Festival. The festival features pilot screenings, Q-and-A’s and more.
On the festival’s opening night, Grammer will showcase the craft beer from Faith American Brewing Company, the company he started in 2015 in Margaretville in New York’s Catskill Mountains. The brewery will provide a selection of its beers throughout the evening for attendees. The event is free and open to the public, with a cash bar for those 21 and older.
This year’s festival will run from Nov. 17-18.
An Emmy-winner, Grammer was recognized with the festival’s 2019 Canopy Award, which honors a member of the New York television community and supports independent scripted television.
Sound View at Greenport is a hotel partner of the festival, and will be the site for some of the festival’s events.
Sound View Greenport is situated on 14-acres of private, waterfront land, and is welcoming festival goers and locals alike to explore its refurbished hotel and restaurant while indulging in Faith American Brews. In addition to serving as the opening night’s bartender, Grammer will be attending the festival as well.
This year’s Canopy Award goes to to Emmy-winning actress Carrie Preston.
For attendees of the North Fork TV Festival, or those looking to make the most of their time in North Fork, Sound View Greenport provides a variety of rooms, with room rates starting at $350 per night.
The after party will be held at Borghese Vineyard in Cutchogue on Nov. 18 from 9-11 p.m.
