Having landed on Steam last year, 9FingerGames and publisher Ravenage Games have announced that their darkly comedic tower defense deckbuilder game Heretic’s Fork will be making its way to consoles later this month. Heretic’s Fork will bring its blend of strategic mayhem and unique humour to a whole new audience of gamers on November 14th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
“We’ve had so much fun building out the world of Heretic’s Fork, and we’re thrilled to finally bring this chaotic, devilishly addictive experience to console players,” says solo developer Stevis Andrea of 9FingerGames.
In Heretic’s Fork, you take on the role of a demon tasked with managing the ultimate bureaucratic nightmare: Hell’s own tower defense. As the Keeper of one of the deepest layers of Hell, your goal is simple: fend off endless waves of tormented souls who foolishly think they can escape eternal damnation. Using an array of cards that represent traps, minions, and special abilities, you’ll create the perfect infernal defenses to keep the escapees at bay.
