Orlando’s first drive-thru Halloween experience, The Haunted Road, opened during the pandemic, became an immediate hit with sold out nights and is now an Orlando Halloween staple. Warning, this year is different! In 2022, The Haunted Road – Human Slaughterhouse Edition tickets include a 25-minute drive down an all new portion of The Haunted Road. At the end of the road (if the ghosts allow you to get that far), guests can park their car to walk through a human slaughterhouse and then enjoy a chilling Afterlife Party.
Admission to the road will be open select nights from September 21 through November 6, 2022 and tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, September 1st at 10 am. Halloween fans who would like early access and first choice of time slots can sign-up for pre-sale tickets at www.TheHauntedRoad.com. The Haunted Road will return to Lake Pickett Road in the same location as Corn Maze Orlando and Painted Oaks Academy. This year, The Haunted Road ghosts are seeking revenge. They are FLESH-CRAVING, vengeance-driven, beastly ghouls, seeking mortals foolish enough to buy a ticket to their own demise.
The Haunted Road is not for the faint of heart, and most certainly, not for those who value their lives. “We have taken everything to the next level this year with an all-star creative team and a brand new walk-through haunted house at the end of the road.” said John Bryant, producer for The Haunted Road. After guests drive the road, and walk through the Human Slaughterhouse haunted house, they get access to the Afterlife Party where they will find a haunted DJ, Haunt Market with Halloween and other creepy souvenirs, pop-up performances, a food truck, and themed cocktails for purchase.
Guests who want an even more intense experience can join the VIP Ghost Tour which includes a 30-minute walking ghost tour (.5 mile) led by a spirit guide through the natural Florida farmland, and Express Entry to the themed cocktail bar and Human Slaughterhouse. Guests will explore the resting sites of The Haunted Road’s most infamous serial killers with real-life ghost-hunting equipment.
Admission starts at $19.99 per person and the VIP Ghost Tour add-on starts at $25.99. The Haunted Road has timed-entry ticketing and tickets must be purchased online in advance.
Time slots will sell out, so Halloween fans are encouraged to reserve their tickets immediately after they go on sale on Sept. 1, 2022, to get access to The Haunted Road on the day and time of your choice. Get more information, join the pre-sale, and get tickets at www.TheHauntedRoad.com.
