Netflix and Mike Flanagan (“The Haunting of Hill House,” “Midnight Mass”) introduce “The Midnight Club” this Halloween, a series adaptation of Christopher Pike‘s 1994 novel that will also adapt other Pike stories. “The Midnight Club” is set to premiere on October 7, and Bloody Disgusting has just shared a pair of new images.
The stills reveal our very first look at Falasngan regular, Matt Biedel, who also appears in “Midnight Mass” and the upcoming “The Fall of the House of Usher”.
Biedel is pictured with Iman Benson who plays Ilonka.
Incredibly smart and driven, Ilonka has her plan for the future, but that comes to a screeching halt when she receives her terminal diagnosis. Her determination to survive leads her to Brightcliffe, where she hopes past cases of miraculous recoveries will help her. Biedel plays her guardian in the series.
Flanagan is adapting Pike’s tales alongside Leah Fong (“Once Upon a Time”), and Flanagan directed some of the episodes. But he’s not the only director for the new series.
The full lineup of directors for Netflix’s “Midnight Club” also includes…
