New Indie Thriller ‘Aged’ to Premiere Digitally June 15  

The independent psychological thriller film ‘Aged’ is set to debut on major digital platforms on June 15, 2023. Written and directed by Anubys Lopez, known for unsettling horror films like ‘Those That Call,’ ‘Aged’ promises to deliver an ominous and twisting experience for audiences. 

“‘Aged’ examines the sinister secrets that can lurk within old houses and memories,” said Lopez. “After taking a job as a caretaker, our protagonist finds herself in a place with a dark and dangerous past. Nothing is as it seems.”

Filmed on location in Houston, Texas, ‘Aged’ stars Morgan Boss-Maltais as a young woman who takes a temporary job as a caregiver for an eccentric elderly man, portrayed by Dave McClain. She soon discovers unsettling truths about the house and its owner. Carla Kidd plays a mysterious friend who holds ominous clues to the property’s history. 

“Anubys Lopez crafts psychological horror inspired by real events and local legends,” said a statement from Lopez’s production company, Harrowhouse Films. “Expect the unexpected with this startling new thriller.”

With ‘Aged,’ Lopez and Harrowhouse Films deliver another chilling tale of suspense to follow horror hits like ‘Those That Call’ and ‘The Night Widow.’ Lopez is known for films featuring menacing old houses, long-buried secrets and surprise twists.
