After giving fans a tease back in March, developer World Makers revealed during the Future Games Show today a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming asymmetric horror whodunnit, Deceit 2. As well, World Makers announced that it’s conducting an Open Beta for PC users to allow them to jump right in ahead of the game’s launch later this summer.
The new trailer marks the first extended look at Deceit 2‘s gameplay, featuring nine-player social strategic interplay, brand new items like the clipboard and mask, the new Healer role, and the terrifying new Terror design. As for the Open Beta, it will run until Monday, June 12. To access the Open Beta, players can sign up through the page on Deceit.gg and request access through the game’s Steam page. Players can also wishlist the game on Steam.
Rebuilt from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5, in Deceit 2, players enter one of the foreboding maps to figure out who among the group is a murderous Infected Terror. Featuring new items, nine player matches, and overhauled gameplay, Deceit 2 promises to be “a fully engrossing and truly terrifying multiplayer game where only the sane will survive.”
Deceit 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
