After a traumatizing event, Nova tries to put the pieces of her life back together, to prove she isn’t crazy.  Her friends and family have her convinced that the events which occurred were due to her self-inflicted behaviors.  Ignoring them all, Nova sets off on one last hike through the backwoods of Pennsylvania to face her fears.  But watching from the forest is a clan of inbred cannibals with an irrepressible taste for human flesh and monstrous brutality.  In the nightmare that follows, what depravities must Nova endure to survive, and who will become the most shocking savage of them all?
