Do you like scary movies?
What about eating popcorn while watching scary movies, a Scream franchise tradition?
If the answer to both is a resounding “YES,” then movie theater chain Cinemark has what’s about to become the most coveted promotional tie-in that everyone’s dying over, a collectible Scream VI popcorn tub.
Cinemark debuted a peek at the collectible snack vessel on their Instagram stories earlier today. The best part? It’s available now at select locations. Take a look at the popcorn tub below and happy hunting!
Ghostface returns to theaters in less than one month, with Scream VI arriving at the box office on March 10 (if you’d rather see the film one day early, don’t miss the special fan event on March 9).
The franchise began with an unforgettable opening kill in 1996’s Scream that saw Casey Becker (Drew Barrymore) preparing popcorn for a horror movie date night, only to get interrupted by a fateful call that kicked off a Woodsboro murder spree. That love of movies permeates the franchise, and a newly surfaced image of Ghostface this afternoon appears to continue that tradition.
In the brand new movie, “The Scream saga continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.”
Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Scream, Ready or Not), are both back behind the camera for the upcoming Scream movie, which is officially titled Scream VI.
Melissa Barrera (“Sam”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy”), Mason Gooding (“Chad”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara”), and Dermot Mulroney are all confirmed for the next installment of Spyglass Media and Paramount Pictures’ franchise, with Samara Weaving (Ready or Not, Mayhem, The Babysitter, “Ash vs Evil Dead”), Tony Revolori (Spider-Man: Homecoming & No Way Home), Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), Liana Liberato (The Beach House), Devyn Nekoda (“Ghostwriter”), Josh Segarra (“Arrow), and Henry Czerny (Ready or Not) also starring.
Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere will also be back as Gale and Kirby, respectively.
