Can you feel that, my darklings? cackles with glee A chill just ran down my spine when I heard the news that Blumhouse is bringing an immersive horror exhibit to one of the most famously haunted hotels in the world – none other than The Stanley Hotel that inspired Stephen King’s spine-tingling novel The Shining! shivers
As a Colorado native and self-proclaimed horror queen, I couldn’t be more thrilled to have this terror-ific exhibition right in my own backyard. Jason Blum and the Blumhouse team are curating a hair-raising, 10,000+ square foot exhibit at the Stanley Film Center, exclusive to the iconic Estes Park landmark.
My lovelies, we’re talking about getting up close and personal with props, costumes, concept art, and other ghoulish artifacts from some of Blumhouse’s freakiest films like Halloween, The Black Phone, and M3GAN! squeals I don’t know about you, but just thinking about coming face-to-face with Michael Myers’ mask or Chucky’s creepy doll form is giving me gleeful nightmares!
And it doesn’t stop there, friends of the dark. The exhibit will also immerse us in the expanded worlds of The Purge, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Get Out, Paranormal Activity, and more of Blumhouse’s blockbuster movie and gaming franchises. I’m already packing my bags and planning a weekend getaway to make the trek through this terror trove! bats eyelashes Who wants to join me for a sleepover once it opens? We can huddle together with flashlights telling scary stories if things get too intense! giggles eerily
I don’t know about you ghouls, but I think we need to pay our respects and make a dark pilgrimage to this mecca of macabre exhibitionism. Just hope I don’t get lost in the hedge maze like little Danny Torrance! Cackles madly* See you on the other side, my pretties!
