It has been brought to our attention that the impending box office smash Halloween Ends contains a number of potential ending scenes, but the director has not yet decided which one will be included in the completed version of the highly anticipated horror movie.
Regarding the climactic conclusion, filmmaker David Gordon Green told Empire that it “varies daily.” In principle, the image is locked,” he said, “but this morning I called the editor and asked, ‘What if we do this one thing?’ And I routinely discuss it with John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis.”
In the film Halloween Ends, which is directed by David Gordon Green and is based on a screenplay that Green co-wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier, Laurie Strode (played by Curtis) is currently finishing up her memoir while residing with her granddaughter Allyson (played by Andi Matichak).
According to the synopsis, Michael Myers has presumably vanished, and Laurie has made the decision to “liberate herself from fear and rage–and enjoy life.” But when a young man named Corey Cunningham, played by Rohan Campbell, “is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that forces Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control–once and for all.” [T]his forces Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control–once and for all.
In addition to James Jude Courtney and Will Patton, Nick Castle, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey, and Michael O’Leary also star in the film Halloween Ends.
