As the world succumbs to Cupid’s charms this February, Redbox is skipping the romance and going straight for the fear. While love and romance take center stage elsewhere, this month’s lineup of free horror films are sure to have hearts racing for reasons beyond affection.
Instead of love, prepare to uncover the dark secrets lurking within The Barn. As a series of gruesome murders continue to transpire within the seemingly tranquil town of Sugar Grove, Virginia, rising journalist Melissa Crawford, arrives on the scene to begin investigating the rising body count, but as she continues her investigation, she soon starts to suspect that there might be more than just a serial killer at work here; this town may be harboring a dark secret, a secret they don’t want out.
Grave Encounters puts a whole new sinister spin on the notion of “be mine forever” when a reality film crew investigating an abandoned mental hospital soon finds that the building is not only haunted but has no intentions of ever letting them go.
Instead of gifts from the heart, high school student Lisa McGrath is bestowed the supernatural ability to see angles and demons in They Don’t Cast Shadows. Now, aided by a mysterious boy, Lisa must fight alongside angels, if she hopes to save her hometown from the forces of hell.
