With the PlayStation VR 2 set to arrive next year on February 22, you’ll also be able to snag an enhanced version of Coatsink’s Jurassic World Aftermath Collection as a launch title. Previously available on the Oculus Quest (and coming this week to the Nintendo Switch) this new version will include both Part 1 and Part 2 of Jurassic World Aftermath in one complete package, as well as including several enhancements that will take advantage of the PSVR’s capabilities.
Set between the events of Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection begins with players crash-landing on Isla Nublar after the fall of the Jurassic World theme park. Players soon find themselves trapped in an abandoned research facility when their mission to recover valuable information goes disastrously wrong. To survive, they’ll need to explore and solve puzzles, while evading the various carnivorous dinosaurs that roam the island.
This upgraded version of Jurassic World Aftermath will sport enhanced visuals and performance boosts, including improved lighting, better post-processing effects and faster load times, all aiming for 4K 90fps visuals. The game will also make use of 3D audio and the PSVR 2’s headset rumble to enhance the experience.
A new exclusive feature to this version of Jurassic World Aftermath is the Dino Viewer, which will allow players to take a closer look at the variety of dinosaurs encountered in the game.
