Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room have revealed Banu Haqim as the third playable clan for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, joining the previously-announced Tremere and Brujah clans. Banu Haqim is a stealth-focused clan that focuses on stalking, assassination, and outmaneuvering in the shadows to attack their foes.
Fiercely devoted to upholding a moral code, dealing with threats, and handing out consequences, the Banu Haqim lurk in the shadows, using their vampiric Disciplines to hunt and remain hidden, dealing swift and precise strikes to enforce their sense of justice.
“Making [the Bloodlines 2 main protagonist] Phyre a Banu Haqim changes how players approach combat, offering a unique perspective to the game’s world,” explains Alex Skidmore, Project Creative Director at The Chinese Room. “Players must approach encounters carefully to make the most of this clan’s gifts, timing their strikes with finesse and precision to achieve their goals. These Kindred are patient and careful, making them ideal for players looking for a strategic experience.”
The fourth and final clan for the main Bloodlines 2 game is expected to be revealed later this month. Additional clans will be available via DLC after Bloodlines 2 launches next year.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is slated for a Fall 2024 release for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.
