Tina Fey‘s already busy at work on her latest Netflix project after collaborating with the streamer on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Girls5eva. Now, she’s setting her sights on The Four Seasons, a new comedy based on the 1981 movie of the same name starring Carol Burnett and Alan Alda who wrote and directed the flick.
Collaborating with 30 Rock alums, the series is shaping up to be a can’t-miss binge. As we await the show’s arrival, we’re breaking down everything we know about The Four Seasons, below, ranging from casting to production details.
Who Stars in The Four Seasons?
Tina Fey is set to lead the series and will be joined by the newest casting addition Steve Carell. The news of Carell’s casting serves as a mini-reunion for himself and Fey as they previously headlined the 2010 comedy film Date Night. It’s unclear exactly what roles they’ll play within this adaptation, but presumably, they’ll be the TV counterparts to the roles inhabited by Burnett and Alda in the film.
Additionally, it has been announced that Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Erika Henningsen will also star in the series in yet-to-be-revealed roles.
When is The Four Seasons Filming?
The series is officially set to begin production later this year. Until then, streamers will have to wait patiently for more defined details about a schedule and potential premiere date.
Who Is Making The Four Seasons?
The television series is co-created by Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield. Together, they executive produce the series with David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond. Meanwhile, Alda will serve as a producer with Marissa Bregman. Alda memorably recurred as a guest star on Fey’s 30 Rock. The show is produced by Universal Television and Little Stranger, Inc.
What Is The Four Seasons About?
The Four Seasons movie is the story of three couples who vacation together every season.
