Meghan Trainor may be all about that bass, but this year, she’s adding some treble!
The pop star — who has sons Riley, turning 4 next month, and Barry, 18 months, with husband Daryl Sabara — is planning on doing something for HERSELF this year. That’s right: she’s going to go under the knife for an elective surgery.
And that surgery… is gonna be on her bewbz!

Now, we know what you may be thinking: hasn’t Trainor already talked about this?! Well, yes. A little bit. About three months ago, she mentioned in passing that a breast lift was possibly going to be on the table for her in the new year. Well, now, we’ve reached that aforementioned new year, and Meghan has reached her limit! It’s time for new boobs! And it’s official now, y’all!!
On Friday, the 31-year-old singer spoke to People about her surgery plans. Without mincing words, she was very candid in her assessment of her breasts as they are now and the need to give ’em a little doctor-aided support:
“I think I was born with saggy boobs. I swear, they were always looking at the ground. So, this is a big deal for me. I’m getting a boob job. I’m getting a lift.”
A lift it is!
BTW, this decision wasn’t just made because Meghan wants new tatas. There are also her children (and specifically, any potential future kids) to consider! What we mean is, the singer went through major breastfeeding problems when it came to raising both of her sons. Those issues were so troubling and frustrating during their respective infancies, in fact, that she has now realized breastfeeding just ain’t gonna be in the cards in the future. So… it’s time to go under the knife!
She explained:
“Listen, these [boobs] don’t make milk. So, when I have more children, these don’t make milk anyways. So, it’s time to lift my boobs. I’m so excited.”
And even though she may be excited about it, she’s also a little bit nervous. Which is understandable! Surgery is scary!
The Workin’ On It podcast host explained her thoughts to the mag:
“I’m very scared. I’ve never had big surgery, except for my two C-sections. So, I’m going to have new boobs, and I’m really excited about it.”
Well, we’re excited about it too, then. And we bet her Spy Kids alum husband is pretty jazzed up for the very fun aftermath as well. LOLz!
