Some NFL players hit really hard on the field. Some go for it after the game!
After the Philadelphia Eagles demolished the Kansas City Chiefs‘ dreams of a Super Bowl three-peat, you’d think they’d be happy to bask in their own victory. But not all of them. Some felt like trash-talking. And Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson made it personal!
The defensive back went after Travis Kelce‘s declining football skills, a narrative which has been shared mostly by the Brad and Chads who irrationally hate Taylor Swift. See, he didn’t comment on how the 35-year-old has gotten old after 12 years in the league, something which also would have been mean but sadly true. No, he went for something really pointed and icky. He foolishly blasted the man’s relationship as the cause for him being washed.

On his Instagram Stories, over a photo from the game in which he stared down Kelce, he wrote about the tight end:
“Should’ve stayed w that thick s****”
ICK!! Wtf, dude???
In other words, he’s saying Trav should have stayed with his ex Kayla Nicole, implying Tay somehow drained him of what made him good. Because she isn’t as curvy as his ex?! Again, ICK. He even seemed to confirm it by reposting his own Story next to a photo of Kayla in a bikini… making it pretty clear he was saying he deemed her superior to Taylor. That one at least he deleted. Maybe someone finally told him he’d gone too far?
But seriously, what a gross thing to say. Why go after a woman you don’t even know like that?? It’s offsides, it’s sexist, it’s rude. We mean, gloat if you must… But this is really uncalled for.
Oh, and btw, we have a message for the 27-year-old Super Bowl winner. You’re going to get older, too. And you’re going to have bad games. Hopefully at some point in there you learn everyone around you remembers how you treat people more than they remember a tackle or two.
