Blake Lively proved she’s willing to go to any lengths for the sake of fashion! Or any heights!
On Instagram Tuesday, the 35-year-old actress showed off on her Stories that she took a tour around Kensington Palace for the Crown to Couture exhibit. In the middle of her tour, however, she noticed something was up with her iconic 2022 Met Gala dress, and decided to take matters into her own hands.
In the video, Blake can be seen fixing the skirt of the Versace dress on the mannequin. She captioned the clip:
“When you’re the clown who hops over the rope at the museum to fix the exhibit.”

Well, someone’s gotta do it! It may as well be the one who wore the dress! In the second half of the caption, she shouted out how much she was repping her sign with the act of defiance in the name of fastidiousness:
“Happy almost Virgo season folx”
The Gossip Girl alum gets down on her knees in the HIGH-larious clip to fix the turquoise and rose gold skirt of the gown, and is soon even joined by a Historic Royal Palaces employee to help adjust the fabric on the mannequin. Funnily enough, nobody even took a second glance at her hubby Ryan Reynolds‘ tux, which was displayed next to her dress! Eh, we’re sure he was fine.
In another snap she posted to her Stories, the A Simple Favor star can be seen alongside jewelers Lorraine Scwhartz and Ofira Sandberg, viewing the crown and earrings she wore the same night she wore the gown. She wrote in the caption:
“I still feel like a kid playing dress up every time I get to wear a gown and borrowed jewels out. To see it memorialized like this… just. Wow. Something I’ll never forget.”
We love to see Blake out and about, just being Blake! Reactions, Perezcious readers?
