The Roots have announced the lineup for the 2024 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, featuring artists like Lil Wayne, Jill Scott, André 3000, and more across two days in June.
Hosted on June 1st and 2nd at its longtime home, The Mann in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, the 2024 iteration of the Roots Picnic will feature a diverse range of musical artists, as well as live podcasts, DJ sets, immersive experiences, and more. Filling out the lineup will be artists like Victoria Monét, Nas, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Tyla, Smino, Babyface, Adam Blackstone featuring Fantasia and Muni Long, Cam’ron, Wale, Robert Glasper, and more.
Tickets for the 2024 Roots Picnic will first become available via a Live Nation pre-sale opening on Tuesday, February 20th, at 10:00 a.m. ET (use access code ALUMNI24). After that, the general on-sale will begin on Friday, February 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. Once tickets are on sale, you can also find them at StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.
For his headlining set, Lil Wayne is slated to honor his hometown, New Orleans with a performance featuring The Roots, PJ Morton, and Trombone Shorty. Other highlights will include André 3000 delivering a set in support of his new flute album, New Blue Sun, special collaborations between artists, and more.
There will even be a stage dubbed the “Parkside Stage,” which will host a “range of curated experiential media along with live podcasts and DJ-driven immersive experiences.” Check out the full lineup of acts and performers below.
