Phoenix visited The Late Show With Stephen Colbert yesterday to perform their Alpha Zulu track “Tonight,” with an appearance from Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig split-screened in, apparently using footage from the song’s video.
Pheonix’s follow-up to 2017’s Ti Amo is out November 4. “Tonight” marks the first time the French band have enlisted a guest vocalist on a song. They shared Alpha Zulu’s title track earlier this year. In 2019, the band released a book alongside the writer Laura Snapes, titled Phoenix: Liberté, Égalité, Phoenix!
