Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Peter Frampton helped Sheryl Crow celebrate her inauguration into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by joining the legend.
To kick off the show, Rodrigo joined Crow for a performance of “It Makes You Happy.” Nicks then joined Crow for “Strong Enough and “Everyday Is a Winding Road,” the latter of which also featured Frampton on guitar.
Actress Laura Dern introduced Crow prior to a video montage featuring testimonials from Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Maren Morris. Dern also shared remarks from Brandi Carlile, who said: “Sheryl really is one of the greatest fucking rock stars of the last 100 years. Great rock stars create other rock stars and burn through boundaries and roadblocks. There is no path for someone like me without Sheryl Crow.”
The 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class also includes Rage Against the Machine, Willie Nelson, Missy Elliott, Kate Bush, George Michael, and The Spinners.
Ahead of Friday’s ceremony, Crow announced the release of a new album called Evolution, which is set to arrive in March 2024.
Rodrigo isn’t a Hall of Famer just yet, but she’s no stranger to super stardom thanks to her sophomore smash GUTS. Her “GUTS World Tour” kicks off next year, and tickets are on sale now.
