Kendrick Lamar took the stage at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California for “The Pop Out Ken & Friends” in celebration of Juneteenth.
The concert marked Lamar’s first live performance since his highly publicized beef with Drake and the setlist featured the live debut of several of Lamar’s Drake diss tracks, including “Euphoria,” “Like That,” and “Not Like That.”
Lamar opened the show with “Euphoria” before rattling off several tracks from DAMN., including “BLOOD.,” “DNA.,” and “ELEMENT.” He was then joined on stage by fellow members of the Black Hippy collective (Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q), who each took a turn performing a song from their own solo catalog.
From there, Lamar performed “King Kunta,” “m.A.A.d city,” “and “HUMBLE.,” before debuting the diss track that started it all,”Like That.”
He then brought out Dr. Dre to perform “Still Dre” and 2Pac’s “California Love (the latter of which the two hadn’t done together since 2014), with Dre then staying on stage to introduce “Not Like Us.” Lamar proceeded to perform the No. 1 single four times in total — with the crowd reciting the lyrics word for word — before ending the show.
“The Pop Out Ken & Friends” also featured a set from “Not Like Us” producer Mustard, who was joined by Tyler, the Creator, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Steve Lacy, and others.
