BTS leader RM has dropped his second solo album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’, alongside a music video for lead single ‘LOST!’.
In the music video for ‘LOST!’, BTS’ RM finds himself trapped in maze-like building with a seemingly endless number of floors, hallways and rooms. Later, he finds a airduct that leads to the set of a strange talk show, featuring the K-pop idol as the musical guest.
‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ was previously described by Big Hit Music as an “11-track album that captures some of the universal emotions that we all experience at some point in life, such as the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in”.
The label had also added that ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ “falls within the alternative genre, boasting a rich sound coupled with frank, honest lyrics”. Aside from ‘LOST!’, the record also features the song ‘Come Back to Me’.
‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ marks RM’s first music since he enlisted into the South Korean military for mandatory two years of service in December 2023. His last release was his solo debut album, ‘Indigo’, which dropped in December 2022.
Led by title track ‘Wild Flower’, ‘Indigo’ included nine other tracks – all of which were co-written by RM himself. Production on the record was handled by long-time BTS collaborator Pdogg, john eun, HONNE, eAeon, among others.
The record also features several collaborative tracks, namely ‘Yun’ with Erykah Badu, ‘Still Live’ with Anderson .Paak, ‘All Day’ with Tablo of Epik High, ‘Hectic’ with Colde, and ‘Closer’ with Mahalia and Paul Blanco.
