Two more stars have joined the Oh. What. Fun. cast for the upcoming Christmas movie that previously added Michelle Pfeiffer to its roster.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Holdovers star Dominic Sessa and Chloë Grace Moretz have been cast for the Amazon MGM holiday movie. There’s no official word on what their roles will be, though the outlet states that, according to sources, they will play the grown children of Pfeiffer’s character, Claire Clauster.
The movie’s production is planned to start in Atlanta in late May, and it will be directed and produced by Michael Showalter and also produced by Jordana Mollick, Berry Welsh and Jane Rosenthal for Tribeca, and Kate Churchill. The film’s script is based on a short story by Chandler Baker, with the film’s script itself being written by Baker and Showalter. Little other casting or release information has been made available as of yet.
What will Oh. What. Fun. be about?
“The story centers on a woman named Claire Clauster, who organizes a special Christmas outing, but her family forgets her in the shuffle,” reads Oh. What. Fun’s description. “By the time they realize their mistake, she’s gone missing and their Christmas is in jeopardy.”
