The wizarding world collides with Lego once again. Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and the Lego Group announced the Lego Harry Potter Collection will be released on modern consoles.
When is the Lego Harry Potter Collection PS5 and Xbox Series release date?
The Lego Harry Potter Collection launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 8, 2024. The compilation includes both Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, allowing fans to experience the boy who lived’s entire saga. Additionally, two previously released DLCs will be included in the package. It will cost $39.99 on all platforms.
Although originally developed by TT Games, the remastered compilation will be developed by Double Eleven and feature 60 FPS gameplay at 4K resolution, haptic feedback, and high-resolution shadow maps. The new trailer below shows the Lego Harry Potter Collection in action.
Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 was originally released in 2010 for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and PC. It is based on the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s first four books in her popular series. Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 was released in 2011 for the same consoles. Similarly, it is based on the films, which split the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, into two parts.
The remastered Lego Harry Potter Collection is not the only game based on the wizarding world releasing this year. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions released today, September 3, 2024, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. PlayStation Plus subscribers can redeem the game at no additional cost.
The next new Lego game will be Lego Horizon Adventures. Based on PlayStation’s Horizon series, the upcoming game allows players to explore its unique world recreated with Lego bricks. Although not official, the leaked release date is November 14, 2024, for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
