Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife and interior designer, was recently in the news for allegedly receiving a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The notice was related to a real estate company allegedly accused of embezzling USD 3 million.
The film producer and interior designer is the brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group. However, the Enforcement Directorate officials have denied sending a notice to summon Gauri Khan in connection to the case.
Gauri Khan ED notice for allegedly embezzling $3 million is false
Reports solely accuse the Tulsiani Group of causing the financial loss. However, the real estate company has allegedly duped USD 3 million from its investors and banks, and Gauri Khan is not a part of the embezzlement.
Although these reports have been directed towards Gauri Khan, they are baseless. A source revealed, “Gauri Khan is the brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group. Although the firm faces accusations of duping USD 3 million from investors and banks, reports of Gauri receiving an ED notice are entirely false. The reports indicate that the Tulsiani Group is accused of causing a financial loss of approximately USD 3 million to investors and banks. However, Gauri is not at all related to any such case. The ED officials will investigate various aspects.”
Furthermore, investigators will look into her dealings with the real estate company. This will include her fees for serving as Tulsiani’s brand ambassador, along with various other aspects. As of now, the Khans are yet to share their opinion on the same.
Recently, Gauri Khan, along with Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and mother Savita Chhibber, attended Abram’s annual function at his school. On the work front, Gauri is awaiting the release of Dunki as she heads the production company Red Chillies Entertainment.
