On Saturday night, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were at MetLife Stadium together enjoying Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert and fanning the flames of reconciliation rumors. The former couple have been sending heavy signals that they might be on again, and an eyewitness at the scene told Page Six that they “appeared very physical” all night.
“At one point during the show, Shawn was sitting on a chair and Camila was in front of him, leaning on him,” the insider said. “He had his arms around her at another point and was spotted kissing her on the shoulder.”
The pair arrived early, making them “some of the first celeb attendees to arrive in the VIP area of the venue” in time to catch Phoebe Bridgers’ opening set.
“People in the audience looked away from the stage and back at the couple and even started cheering for them as they spotted them in the crowd,” the source added.
Mendes and Cabello started dating in 2019 and announced their breakup in November of 2021 with a joint statement on Instagram.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” they wrote. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”
They reportedly remained friends after their breakup, even sharing and working on music together. But they were then spotted at Coachella this year kissing in the audience of a show. At the time, a source told Page Six, “Shawn and Camila remain friends with a lot of love and history between them, but they aren’t dating again. They’ve stayed in touch since their breakup and decided to meet up at Coachella since they were both going.”
They added it was a “one time thing.”
But since then, they’ve been spotted being affection in the streets in New York City and at an improv show in Los Angeles.
