International Jamaican pop star Shenseea wrapped up her 12-city Never Gets Late Here North American Tour last week with one last stop at Los Angeles’s famed Fonda Theatre. The performance capped off what has been a successful first headline outing for the Grammy-nominated artist, who brought a dynamic stage presence and her infectious Caribbean-flavor hits, like “Hit & Run” and “Neva Neva,” to high-energy crowds across America.
With the help of her stylist Leah Abbott, Shenseea served up a memorable collection of tour outfits by an array of independent designers. Featuring lots of cutouts, fringe, and high-octane hues, each look perfectly embodied the artist’s current era. For the L.A. stop, Shenseea went out with a bang, opting for a lime-green Mel the Taylor cutout dress (very brat!) and silver Schuh sandals.
Below, the artist gives Who What Wear an all-access pass to her final show with an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo diary shot by Virisa Yong.
