The Suffolk Bar Association, in Hauppauge, has welcomed a new business partner that specializes in the e-filing and printing of appeals for the legal profession.
That partner, Printing House Press, is a New York-based firm whose roots date back more than 60 years. Its focus includes assisting in e-filing legal documents with the courts, as well as monitoring and informing about rule changes, according to the bar association.
“We welcome PHP as our newest business partner,” Cynthia Doerler, executive director of the Suffolk County Bar Association, said in a news release about the partnership.
“This partnership with PHP demonstrates our organization’s desire to provide the greatest resources to our members, many of whom are involved with the appellate courts,” she added. “We look forward to strengthening our relationship with PHP.”
PHP works with a number of organizations in the legal field.
“We are very excited to officially connect with the Suffolk County Bar Association as one of their business partners,” John McGorty, executive vice president of business development at PHP, said in the news release.
“PHP is always looking to leverage our strength across the legal industry, and we know our e-filing services, along with our team of appellate consultants and paralegals, can assist SCBA attorneys,” he added.
PHP also has partnerships and associations with the Nassau County Bar Association as well as WE CARE, the bar association’s charitable arm, among others, according to the PHP website.
