Ridgewood Saving Bank has opened a branch in Yaphank.
This marks the bank’s 36th branch in New York and ninth on Long Island. The bank has two other branches in Suffolk County.
“We are very pleased to take part in the exciting local economic development happening in the Town of Brookhaven,” Leonard Stekol, president and CEO of Ridgewood Savings Bank, said in a statement.
Stekol said that the bank’s “reputation was built on a solid foundation of forward-thinking customer service.” That includes providing its in-person banking experience, while offering a “full array” of digital banking tools that “allow customers to bank from anyplace at any time, “ as well as a “locally staffed” customer contact center.
The bank’s offerings include an SBA 7(A) loan program for small businesses, as well as personal and digital services.
The bank, which recently held a ribbon-cutting that attracted local and state officials, is located at 541 Boulevard East in the Shoppes at the Boulevard.
“As an area chamber of commerce it is always great to have new businesses open and provide their services to our diverse community and to residents and businesses while providing jobs in the financial sector, Frank Montanez, Jr., president of the Mastic-Shirley Chamber of Commerce, said in a news release about the bank’s opening.
