Nunley’s Carousel, the 110-year-old attraction in Garden City, is now open
The historic carousel, now managed by Long Island Children’s Museum, was shut down during the pandemic in 2020. Now it is open Thursdays through Sundays through Sept. 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last ride at 3:45 p.m..
Featuring colorful painted horses, a lion and chariots, the carousel has been located in a glass pavilion in Museum Row since 2009.
A ribbon cutting was held this week.
