Long Island Business News has announced the recipients of the 2024 Empowering Women Awards.
The Empowering Women Awards shine a light on companies and organizations that have demonstrated tangible efforts and documented results in supporting and empowering women on Long Island. Honorees were selected based on documented hiring and promoting of women; leadership positions held by women; advocacy for the cause of women internally and externally; and efforts to cultivate the next generation of women professionals. The honorees were selected by the editorial team of Long Island Business News.

“The Empowering Women Award honorees understand the importance of advancing women in the workplace and in the community,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Long Island Business News. “Long Island Business News commends these businesses for all they do to recognize, advocate for and empower women on Long Island.”

The Empowering Women Awards will be presented at a celebration on Thursday, July 25, at Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. Registration, networking and a luncheon begin at 11 a.m. followed by a panel discussion at noon featuring some of Long Island’s most successful women leaders who will share what they wish they knew at the beginning of their careers. The awards program begins at 1 p.m. The event hashtag is #LIBNevents.

Attendance is limited, with sponsors receiving priority access.
