Beginning this month, JetBlue will begin serving Montauk Brewing Company’s Surf Beer Golden Ale on all the airline’s flights, whether domestic or international.
JetBlue is the first airline to serve the craft beer from the Montauk-based brewery, which is now a Tilray Brands company.
The beer is one of Montauk Brewing’s best-selling flagship beers, and is known as a “light and refreshing” brew that was inspired by the “brand’s coastal lifestyle,” according to a news release about the brewery’s partnership with JetBlue.
“We are proud and excited that JetBlue selected our Montauk Surf Beer Golden Ale to offer to travelers worldwide,” Vaughan Cutillo, cofounder of Montauk Brewing, said in the news release.
“This selection represents not just a beverage but the embodiment of relaxation and joy that Montauk Brewing stands for,” he added. “We hope that every sip taken at 30,000 feet connects our consumers to the carefree spirit of Montauk and the adventurous journey ahead.”
Founded in 2012, Montauk Brewing is open year-round in downtown Montauk, where it also sells a variety of beer and ale as well as hard seltzer and hard seltzer lemonade.
