Huntington Bay has made a list of the most enviable suburbs in America.
The North Shore enclave finished third behind Calabasas, Calif. and Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on the list of top suburban locales for desired lifestyles from MovingFeedback.com.
The nationwide survey, which had 3,000 respondents, asked which suburban lifestyles are the most sought-after in America, with a goal of unveiling the most desirable suburban lifestyles across the nation and ranking them in a list of 175.
Huntington Bay was described as promising residents “an exclusive and luxurious lifestyle along the stunning North Shore of Long Island.” The community boasts breathtaking waterfront properties and panoramic views, providing an enchanting coastal living experience, according to the website. Its other benefits are a “close-knit community and pristine beaches,” and family-friendly atmosphere. Huntington Bay’s proximity to New York City offers convenient access to world-class cultural attractions, fine dining, and career opportunities, the website concluded.
The only other Long Island community to make the envied suburbs list was Great Neck at number 54.
Rounding out the top ten communities with the most envied suburban lifestyles are South Park, N.C; Forest Acres, S.C.; Sugar Land, Texas; Alpharetta, Ga.; Alamo Heights, Texas; Mercer Island, Wash.; and McLean, Va.
