A mixed-use property in downtown Farmingdale has sold for $950,000.
Rejtrade Capital LLC, an affiliate of a Long Island-based commercial real estate investor, purchased the two-story, 2,783-square-foot building on .08 acres at 217 Main St.
The building has four single-room apartments above a 1,500-square-foot commercial space that was last occupied by The Republic tavern, which closed in Jan. 2024.
A new tenant, Long Island bar-and-restaurant veteran Ross Finn, will be opening LI McGrath’s in the ground-floor space. LI McGrath’s, a sister pub to the McGrath’s in Galway, Ireland, is expected to open by the end of the month.
Guy Canzoneri and Christian Standerwick of Berkshire Hathaway Commercial Services represented the buyer, as well as the seller, Main 217 Street LLC, in the sales transaction. The brokers also represented the tenant, RRmassapequapark Inc., and the property’s new owner in the 10-year lease transaction.
“We had so much interest in the building that we took one of the potential buyers and turned him into the tenant,” Canzoneri said. “We leased it to a new bar operator who is currently renovating the existing space and plans to open in time for Halloween.”
