In Huntington, pizzeria to offer $1 slices

A pizzeria in Huntington is planning to give back to its customers with a deal offering $1 slices.

Krave It says the company is offering this special on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on all of its slices. Slices are usually priced at $7, according to a spokesperson.

Around the country, restaurants are offering a variety of specials at holiday time. This helps restaurants keep at the forefront for consumers especially about special occasions.

The special comes at a time when consumers are now more selective in their spending, with 85% considering cutbacks over the next six months, primarily in nonessentials like dining out, clothing and luxury items, according to the 2024 holiday outlook report by PwC.

A family-owned business, Krave It offers a variety of pizzas, from its spicy vodka garlic knot crust pizza, to a cheeseburger pizza to a Christmas tree pizza, among others. The menu also offers a Dubai chocolate pizza that features melted chocolate and pistachio cream. There are also a variety of sandwich options.

Founded in 2015 by husband and wife Vishee and Jenna MandaharIn in Queens, the company now has three locations, including Huntington, Astoria and Bayside, with the Astoria and Huntington locations 100% Halal.
