Los Angeles, DATE, 2024 – In honor of Halloween, award-winning filmmaker Nicholas Gyeney has unveiled the theatrical and on demand release dates for the much-anticipated supernatural thriller The Activated Man.
The Activated Man will have an exclusive premiere at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills on Thursday, December 12th, and will have a weeklong theatrical run in Los Angeles, as well as in Tempe, AZ, Huntingdon, PA, and other cities across the country beginning the following day: Friday the 13th.
Two special opening-day screenings in Los Angeles on Friday the 13th will be FAN EVENTS with Gyeney and star Kane Hodder in attendance to meet fans and give out free exclusive The Activated Man t-shirts designed by popular t-shirt brand Rucking Fotten.
NY-based Stonecutter Media will distribute the film in North America on cable (Xfinity/Spectrum/Cox Cable/Dish Network/Sling TV/DirecTV/Uverse/Verizon Fios/Optimum) and digital (Amazon Prime/Vudu/iTunes/Google Play/Microsoft) on demand beginning December 13th.
The film, highly-anticipated by fans of the horror genre, boasts a star-studded cast that includes genre icons Tony Todd (Candyman), Sean Young (Blade Runner), and four-time Jason Voorhees, Kane Hodder, alongside Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), Vladimir Kulich (Vikings), Sab Shimono (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III), Ivana Rojas (Hulu’s This Fool), and longtime Gyeney collaborator Scott Brown as the villainous ‘Fedora Man.’

Not only will our film appeal to fans of horror and the paranormal, we believe it also will resonate with those dealing with loss and grief through spirituality.”
Drawing on the universal theme of grief with a twist that Gyeney’s work has become noted for, The Activated Man stars Jamie Costa as an everyman who loses his beloved dog, Louis. His grief spurs disturbing visions that cause him to wonder if he’s dealing with the usual highs and lows of a painful loss, or if darker forces are preying on his mind.
To celebrate the upcoming release, Gyeney has unveiled 2 innovative “dueling posters” and launched two companion trailers for film fans, one featuring the frightening “Fedora Man” and one the spirit of Louis,to highlight the film’s running theme of darkness vs light.
