Why don’t we all just forget that little restraining order tiff ever even happened??
It sounds like that’s what Raquel Leviss wants the world to do right now, at least. The Vanderpump Rules star — who infamously filed a temporary restraining order against castmate Scheana Shay earlier this month — is now walking it back.
Of course, we reported a little bit about that move earlier on Friday morning. In a shocking development, Scheana’s lawyer confirmed Raquel requested Bravo host Andy Cohen “serve” the 37-year-old Shay with “papers” regarding the TRO while filming the VPR reunion episode on Thursday. Except that “serve” turned out to be phony, because the real dismissal docs hadn’t even been filed with the court yet!!

So, here’s where the whole thing stands now. On Friday, ET spoke to Tom Sandoval‘s 28-year-old mistress about the TRO filing. When asked about how she had Andy “serve” Scheana with the premature dispersal docs, Raquel confirmed she is going to move to dismiss the restraining order:
“I can confirm that my attorney took my case off the court calendar Wednesday and is filing the appropriate paperwork requested by the court today to dismiss the TRO from moving forward after the 29th. We let the court know I will not be moving forward with a permanent restraining order.”
From Raquel’s POV, then, it was supposedly Scheana’s legal team which balked at getting the TRO dropped before Thursday’s reunion special:
“My team tried to work with Scheana on a mutually beneficial agreement hoping to get the TRO dropped earlier so we could film [the reunion episode] together. The TRO was intended to provide a cooling-off period after I was punched but I didn’t want to continue with the permanent RO nor did I want to cause Scheana further agony and stress.”
So it was Raquel who initially filed the order, but then also Raquel who wanted it dissolved prematurely? And Brock Davies‘ wife was allegedly the one who held up the process on that, despite clearly wanting to be done with it??
Hmmm…
Shay’s attorney is already calling bull s**t on that. You’ll recall how we reported on Naema Rahmani‘s comments earlier Friday morning. The legal eagle slammed “Rachel” (yes, he only ever used her legal name!) for serving Scheana papers which “have no legal meaning” after Leviss had initially “requested a permanent restraining order,” and not a temporary one.

As Rahmani previously explained, Raquel can only “drop” the restraining order at next Wednesday’s hearing in court. So simply sending un-filed papers to Scheana means literally nothing. To ET, Rahmani also added this new, stronger slam:
“If she wants to make this go away, she can tell everyone that she wasn’t punched and she lied, and that she doesn’t intend to go forward with a permanent restraining order. That wouldn’t undo the damage she has caused, and she still filed a false police report, but it would go a long way toward resolving the legal issues.”
Yikes!
The outlet asked Leviss more about that part of the unresolved legal tussle, too. She admitted to having Cohen give Scheana un-filed documents. However, she claimed it was done to show her “intentions” towards resolving things with the Scheananigans podcast host:
“The document was a dismissal form that the court asked us to submit and I wanted to show Scheana my intentions and that we had informed the judge we weren’t moving forward — and it was an explanation at the reunion to alleviate Scheana’s concerns.”
Ooookay…
Behind the scenes, an insider gave an account of the ill-fated attempt at the reunion re-connection, too. According to this source, Raquel and Scheana’s respective teams “tried to work out an agreement” that would bring them together on stage to film the VPR reunion. Unfortunately, that attempt “fell apart” at some point before Thursday.
The source explained:
“Raquel’s team, with productions knowledge, attempted to find a mutually acceptable resolution with Scheana to help get the TRO dropped prior to filming so that they could both attend the reunion together. Raquel’s team proposed they would both agree that the argument escalated and got physical but that both women wished to move forward from it, agreed there was no fault, would stop talking about it after the reunion, and would stop making any disparaging remarks related to the incident after the reunion.”
According to that insider, Leviss was apparently ready to appear in court back on Tuesday — more than a week ahead of her previously-scheduled court date — to jettison the restraining order.
However, Scheana allegedly “rebuked” the offer. And, she supposedly tried to get Leviss to change her story about how the altercation went down in the first place:
“Had they come to a reasonable agreement Raquel was prepared to appear in court Tuesday to drop the TRO. Unfortunately, Scheana rebuked the offer, which kept the burden on production to find a solution for them to film separately. Scheana’s team wanted Raquel to say the punch never happened, and Raquel refused.”
Whew.
It continues to be a lot! And we’re here for it! Reactions, Perezcious readers?? Do you buy Raquel’s TRO claims in these new comments?! Sound OFF with your take down (below)…
