A thrilling story is hitting Prime Video this week.
Starting Friday, September 23, the streaming service will add Memory, a thriller featuring Liam Neeson, Guy Pearce, and Monica Bellucci. Martin Campbell directed the movie from a screenplay adapted by Dario Scardapane. The film is a remake of The Memory of a Killer, also called The Alzheimer Case, based on the novel by Belgian writer Jef Geeraerts. Black Bear Pictures’ Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, and Ben Stillman produced along with Peter Bouckaert and Rudy Durand. The list of producers also sees Rupert Maconick, Arthur Sarkissian, and Welle Entertainment’s Cathy Schulman. The cast includes Harold Torres, Taj Atwal, Ray Fearon, Daniel de Bourg, Josh Taylor, Ray Stevenson, Lee Boardman, Louis Mandylor, Stella Stocker, as well as Natalie Anderson, and Atanas Srebrev.
“Memory follows Alex Lewis (Liam Neeson), an expert assassin with a reputation for discreet precision. Caught in a moral quagmire, Alex refuses to complete a job that violates his code and must quickly hunt down and kill the people who hired him before they and FBI agent Vincent Serra (Guy Pearce) find him first,” says the official synopsis. “Alex is built for revenge but, with a memory that is beginning to falter, he is forced to question his every action, blurring the line between right and wrong.”
